How do you create recipes: I cook in the morning, carefully measuring and writing down each ingredient, then immediately photograph the food and begin writing as it fits into my schedule. Often the entire process will take only two hours, including promotion via social media.
Why don’t you have a regulated posting schedule? My schedule varies. Small kids, tight budgets, and deadlines for contracted posts affect what days I will be posting, among other things. If you sign up to receive posts via email, you’ll never miss one.
What kind of camera do you use: I use a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Digital SLR Camera with a 35-80mm canon lens. I have used different filters, depending on the photo.
I have a question about a recipe. How do I contact you: All comments are moderated through the admin panel of the website, which only I have access to. All comments submitted send individual alerts to my main inbox (Katefromscratch@gmail.com) and mobile. If pressing and in need of immediate attention, the question will be immediately answered.
I would like to send you a free sample of a product, will you review it: Thanks for thinking of me. Review posts aren’t a regular occurrence here since they often come across as contrived and lacking in purity which is a disservice to my audience. However, if a company contacts me and their product is one that I believe my audience will enjoy or that I use on a regular basis, I might mention that product. However, the post is always focused on a recipe and not a product. All posts will stay true to the original themes of the site. If a product mention was a free sample, that fact will clearly be stated in the post with the mentioned product.
