“Kate from Scratch” is owned, written, designed, and photographed by Kate Moran who currently lives in the rural New York area and has been cooking for twenty years since becoming vegetarian at the young age of twelve. This site is frequently featured throughout the online food and blog community on sites such as gourmet live (which has since moved to the mega-awesome-recipe site that I absolutely adore, epicurious ), Today Bites, dailybuzz food (formerly known as foodbuzz), bon appetit (blog mentions), babble (named in the top fifty food mom blogs 2012), and countless other supportive and humbling links for which I’m very grateful.
In the first two years of this site’s creation it grew “from scratch” to over thee thousand social media followers on facebook, twitter and pinterest and over twenty thousand unique visitors, monthly. Thank you to all of you for thinking that I have something worth visiting.
